Kara Springer is a local artist and long-time friend who reached out for assistance to develop a cloud-based multimedia installation. Engineering Design Lab worked on a method for a series of light-boxes to be dimmed and brightened based on the artist’s breathing pattern, even if she was hundreds of kilometers away.
