Peter holds Bachelor and Master of Applied Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto. His research focused on experimental modeling of flows in the human respiratory system, where he developed a novel technique for measuring particle dynamics in 3D-printed models of the mouth and throat. During his time at UofT, Peter became deeply involved with multidisciplinary student design teams working on Formula Student, Supermileage, and human-powered mobility, owning a variety of roles ranging from subsystem mechanical design to team-wide direction and leadership. Peter enjoys technical challenges that require wearing many hats, and outside of the lab can be found climbing, camping, or cycling.
