In support of a research initiative led by the University of Toronto’s Mechanical Engineering department, EDL provided key deliverables to assist in the development of a mobile oil spill response prototype. A piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) was produced to outline system components and flow paths, helping define control strategies and experimental setups. A full 3D CAD model was created to aid in spatial layout and integration of parts. Additionally, EDL developed a set of renders to visually represent the system and assist with stakeholder communication. These contributions helped clarify design requirements and supported the ongoing prototyping and validation work.
